Product Info

This Mk1 model coach depicts Composite Corridor Coach No.M15849 in BR Maroon.

The British Railways Mark 1 coach family includes some of the most successful designs in railway history, with thousands constructed and lasting from the early 50’s right up until the present day.

One of the more common types was the Composite Corridor – offering both second- and first-class accommodation in the same coach.

During the late 1950’s and early 60’s, these coaches could be seen behind a variety of motive power, include many of the locomotives in our range such as the LNER Class A3 and A4, LMS Black 5, Class 31, and Class 47.
